Stephen's Story

I had been searching for my birth parents on my own, off and on, for fifteen years. Toby found my birthfather in one day. She found my birthmother less than two weeks later. And it wasn't an easy search. There were stumbling blocks, dead ends, missing info, etc. Toby works very fast, works hard, stays with it. She becomes utterly committed to the search. Once my search started with Toby, I felt that she cared about it almost as much as I did. She took on the role of a good friend helping me, guiding me.

Toby is the kind of person you want to have with you on your search. She treated me with care, with concern, with respect, with true enthusiasm and a good sense of humor. She didn't push things, she let me set the pace. She was very supportive throughout. She shares your excitement when she uncovers a new bit of information. And when moments got emotional, she knew just what to say -- and when to say nothing. The great thing about Toby is that not only will she find who you're looking for -- she'll help you through it.

I can go on and on about her. I can't imagine a better adoption searcher.
